About the position The Revenue Cycle Regional Rep 2 is responsible for managing escalated account and payer issues within the Revenue Cycle department. This role involves handling complex edits, appeals, and account activities, acting as a billing and reimbursement expert for a defined payer product line. The position requires proficiency in advanced tasks related to revenue cycle management and collaboration with various stakeholders to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials. Responsibilities • Handle escalated account activities such as healthcare liens, settlement requests, and workers' compensation reimbursement forms. , • Manage complex edits, correspondence, and advanced level workqueues including retro review and EOB balancing. , • Assist with training and education for staff to ensure accuracy in revenue cycle processes. , • Identify payer and system issues to initiate project requests for process improvements. , • Participate in meetings with payer representatives to enhance reimbursement and reduce denials. Requirements • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree preferred. , • 1-3 years of customer service experience in healthcare required. , • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Receivables Management systems. , • Knowledge of basic medical coding and third-party operating procedures. Nice-to-haves • Credit and collection experience preferred. , • Proficiency in EncoderPro.
