The compensation includes a percentage of the company revenue, and the firm has shown consistent growth year over year, making it an exciting time to join their team. Responsibilities: • Handle taxes and accounting for the firm • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for the firm using tax software • Review previous tax returns and financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation • Conduct tax research and assist with audit preparation • Ability to understand and apply tax laws and changes in the preparation process • Maintain and update annually fixed asset list in tax software • Potential to work closely with financial advisors and clients on tax planning strategies • Assist with financial reporting and analysis Requirements: • CPA certification • Degree in accounting or taxation preferred • 5-8 years of experience in tax accounting • Experience within an investment management firm is ideal • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are a CPA looking to break out of a larger institution and work in a dynamic and growing firm, this may be a great opportunity for you.
