Desktop Support Agent (Onsite)

About the position The Desktop Support Agent role at Cognizant involves providing Level 2 support for various technical issues, particularly in cloud infrastructure and security services. The position focuses on troubleshooting network and printer problems, deploying operating system images, and managing software updates using tools like Intune and SCCM. The agent will also coordinate Office 365 applications and maintain asset management systems, ensuring effective communication with technical personnel and management. Responsibilities • Provide Level 2 support for sophisticated technical issues. , • Troubleshoot network and printer problems using remote control tools. , • Build and deploy operating system images and push software updates using Intune and SCCM. , • Lead and support Office 365 applications and coordinate Intune environments. , • Handle device identities across Azure AD, Hybrid Azure AD, and On-Prem scenarios. , • Update and clean up asset management systems and maintain software and hardware inventories. , • Own the deployment of software releases and system upgrades via Intune. , • Perform diagnostic testing and apply remote control tools for troubleshooting. , • Communicate effectively with technical personnel, executives, and managers. , • Support video/audio conferencing requests. Requirements • Experience with cloud infrastructure and SCCM. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Intune. , • Mid-level technical support experience.
