Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Payroll Analyst, Commissions to join our growing team. In this role, you will be involved in processing payroll for the Workato. You will also be responsible for: Payroll Commissions • Perform independent calculation of sales commissions for the purpose of validating and reconciling the reports from the sales operations team for payroll payout. • Suggest process and system improvements to improve the accuracy, scalability and efficiency of the commissions validation process. • Advise employees on payroll commissions related enquiries • Resolve payroll commissions discrepancies • Commission and Quarterly Bonus Accrual file preparation and reconciliation between actuals and accruals. Payroll Processing and Compliance • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information. • Process employee payroll in a timely manner and review for accuracy as per assigned country • Resolve payroll discrepancies • Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed • Scope and implement payroll process improvement projects • Ensure compliance with Workato Inc. state laws on payroll accounting including US federal and state taxes, social security contributions etc. by contacting the state departments via phone / email / physical mail as required. RequirementsQualifications / Experience / Technical Skills • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field • Previous experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role for Regional Payroll with specialization in Commissions calculation. • Payroll and tax knowledge for US with familiarity on APAC and EMEA as a plus • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel • Great computational ability • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through • Familiarity with systems - Namely (US), Salesforce, and CaptivateIQ is a plus.
