Oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting for loanDepot, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reports through thorough review and analysis of financial data. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Stay up-to-date with changing accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance in financial reporting. Lead and manage a team of financial reporting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Identify areas of improvement in financial reporting processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes. Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and risks. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and identify any potential discrepancies or errors. Develop and maintain financial reporting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization. Act as a subject matter expert on financial reporting matters and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information. Continuously monitor and review financial reporting processes to identify and mitigate any potential risks. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the company's financial goals and objectives.
