Mortgage Pre-Approval Specialist
Fast growing independent mortgage banker is seeking a pre-approval specialist to assist loan officers in closing files timely and effectively. Responsibilities: Issue loan pre-approvals based on complete loan applications and documentation Detailed lead tracking and follow-up Attend pipeline review on behalf of loan officer and involve in escalations when needed Entering contract details in Encompass and handing file off to processing Communicate borrower conditions Ensure structure of the loan presents the best program based on the borrowers financial circumstances. Review the file for any missing documentation that best supports approval. Requirements: At least 3 years of mortgage experience Excellent written and verbal communication- primarily communicating with clients and business partners Encompass experience strongly preferred Experience reviewing completed 1003s and requesting required documents for pre-approval from borrowers Experience reviewing credit/income/asset documentation and running AUS to issue a strong pre-approval letter (DU,LP) Experience calculating various income types: W-2, OT, Variable Pay, Schedule C, 1120-S, Schedule E Rental income In depth knowledge of guideline differences between Fannie, Freddie, FHA, USDA Experience with down payment assistance a plus Bilingual Benefits: PTO, Medical, Dental, 401(k) Compensation: Commensurate with experience Apply Job!
