Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fractional Staff Accountant to manage our financial reporting on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely monthly closings, generating financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote work environment and can independently deliver high-quality results. Key Responsibilities: • Reconcile all accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts. • Accurately record, classify, and document transactions in compliance with accounting standards. • Manage the monthly closing process, ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy. • Prepare and present financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) with comparisons to management forecasts. • Prepare and file required sales tax returns.
