Underwriter - Cyber / E&O Insurance - Remote

In this position, you will be responsible for underwriting Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, Privacy/Security Liability, and miscellaneous E&O insurance business. You will make critical decisions regarding risk acceptability, coverage alternatives, and pricing, while also staying informed about industry trends to ensure our policies remain competitive. Building and maintaining strong relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers is essential, as is maintaining accurate documentation in line with company guidelines. You will be expected to achieve acceptable underwriting profit levels within your assigned book of business, and we are open to considering candidates with Surplus Lines Cyber underwriting experience. Responsibilities • Underwrite both new and/or renewal Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, Privacy/Security Liability, and miscellaneous E&O insurance business. , • Make critical underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage alternatives, and pricing. , • Stay up to date on industry trends by continuously monitoring and researching developments in the cyber and technology field to ensure the policies are current and competitive. , • Develop and maintain superior relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers. , • Maintain accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines. , • Achieve acceptable underwriting profit levels within assigned book of business. Requirements • 25 years of full-time work experience. , • 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience. , • Recent exposure to Cyber and/or E&O underwriting.
