Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I/II/III Ob/Gyn
Responsibilities
The vocational nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or Nurse Coordinator. The LVN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards. The LVN identifies priorities and makes judgments concerning basic needs of multiple patients in order to organize care. Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I/II/III Ob/Gyn- Sign On Bonus $2,500 Location: West Grand Parkway Department: Ob/Gyn Job Type: Full Time Salary Range: $47,206 - $69,291 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education Required: LVN I/II/III - Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program. Preferred: N/A Experience Required: LVN I 6 months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program. LVN II 4-8 years in a clinical area LVN III 9+ years in a clinical area Preferred: N/A License(s) Required: LVN I/II/III- Current and valid Texas LVN license Preferred: N/A Special Skills Required: LVN I/II/III- Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population for the assigned clinical area. Computer experience. Preferred: LVN I/II/III- Windows bases computer skills. EPIC experience. Other Required: LVN I/II/III- Current BCLS Preferred: N/A Working Environment: Clinic
