Remote SF Construction and DSCR Loan Underwriter

We are looking for a skilled Construction and DSCR Loan Underwriter to join our client. Job Description: As a Construction and DSCR Loan Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, approving, and managing construction and bridge loan applications. Your expertise will ensure that all loans meet our company’s standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with clients, brokers, and other team members to facilitate smooth and efficient loan processes. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate and underwrite construction and DSCR Loan applications. • Review loan documentation, including credit reports, financial statements, and property appraisals. • Assess risk factors and determine loan eligibility and terms. • Collaborate with clients, brokers, and internal teams to gather necessary information and address any issues. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Prepare detailed underwriting reports and recommendations. • Monitor and manage active loans, including disbursements and compliance with loan terms. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting construction and bridge loans. • Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and loan documentation. • Must have experience working within the role within the past 11 months. • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply Job!
