Position Summary The Eligibility Verification Specialist will oversee the Eligibility process for new patients referred for treatment with BHS. These duties include: Validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system Verify insurance eligibility for services provided and document complete information in the system Performing prior authorizations as required by payor source, including procurement of needed documentation by collaborating with physician offices and insurance companies Contacting all insurance carriers per patient, to ensure proper coordination and reimbursement of benefits Other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements Experience in healthcare / medical settings Experience with billing preferred Highly organized and attentive to detail Experience with eligibility verification (Medicaid/Medicare and other insurance portals) Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills Proficient in MS-Excel Ability to work independently Benefits Competitive Earnings Hands-on and Training and Supervision Work-Life Balance / Flexible Work Schedule A comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and more) 401k with a 3% company match Pay $18-22 Apply Job!
