THE ROLE We’re looking for a Senior Consultant who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant (which is an Manager level position) this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues. In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below. As the Senior Consultant, this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world. RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead Advisory Services, Process Consulting and Business Analysis across supply chain planning functions. • Own and drive consulting engagement with clients to envision solutions and develop roadmap. • Identify and recommend transformation opportunities across SC planning functions during client engagements. • Lead/assist consulting partner and horizontal leads in proposal (RFP/RFI) development activities. • Conduct market research and analysis to provide insights. • As part of business development activities, create financial models and business cases. • Drive thought leadership agenda for the logistics functions via white papers, webinars, and analysts connect. • Lead in developing and presenting Point of views specific to different industries like Manufacturing, Life Sciences and technology trends specific to Supply Chain Execution capabilities. • Lead a team of consultants and senior consultants. • Set their annual goals, perform appraisal, mentor, train, and guide your team in career progression. • Participate in hiring process and help attract, develop & retain associates / team members. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have exposure to any other supply chain functions such as planning or procurement • Must have exposure to major packages in the domain like Manhattan or Blue Yonder • Good to have project management experience. • Experience in dealing / managing international clients (E.g. North America / Europe) • Fluency in English with strong social, communication, and presentation skills in client-facing role • Good to have prior experience at a Tier-1 management consulting firm. • Good to have familiarity with industry/research/benchmarking resources across the supply chain planning functions. • Ability to work independently as well as in a team. • Positive attitude and strong sense of ownership • A proven track record in a client-facing role with at least 2 of which (though ideally more) are leading a digital technology team • Works with Cognizant stakeholders (e.g. CP's, CRM's,) technology partners (Amazon) and other business allies to identify consulting opportunities or develop winning proposals • Regularly contribute to the practice by developing practice initiatives, research on industry trends, knowledge repositories; developer reusable consultative strategies and solutioning approaches in support of business development and expansion activities • Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $81,450 - $129,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
