About the position The Consulting Application Engineer at HCA Healthcare is a leadership role focused on driving the development and implementation of software solutions using Google Cloud Dialogflow. This position involves strategic planning, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality code and architecture. The engineer will collaborate with business partners to align IT capabilities with business needs and manage development projects from inception to implementation. Responsibilities Lead development efforts and drive adoption of technology solutions. , Interface with business partners to design and implement software solutions. , Provide guidance on software architecture and design decisions. , Manage development projects through all phases including inception, elaboration, development, testing, and implementation. , Perform development using HCA standards and maintain code control through tools like Microsoft Team Foundation Server. , Complete unit testing and participate in peer/code reviews. , Provide advanced software development troubleshooting to other development teams. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. , 7+ years of experience with software architecture and delivery. , Proven leadership experience. , Experience using Google Cloud and its architecture. , Familiarity with Dialogflow CX or other conversational technologies. Nice-to-haves Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, GitHub, and various programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, JavaScript, and Node.js. , Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Angular, and React.
