Job Description

As a Insurance Sales Representative, you will help grow the Allstate agency by engaging new prospects and building strong relationships with the community. You will apply insurance knowledge and sales skills to increase the customers' understanding of the value of insurance and cultivate long-term relationships as a trusted adviser. • *All who apply will be emailed a link to an online assessment. You MUST complete the assessment to be considered further for this position.** • $1000 Sign-On Bonus • Base salary + commission, regular bonuses • Paid time off, paid holidays • Health insurance • Life insurance • Accident insurance • Matching IRA • Opportunity for advancement Responsibilities • Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients • Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs • Resolve client inquiries and complaints • Advise clients of proper coverage to carry • Present cross sell opportunities for life insurance and financial services • Track and identify areas of improvement Requirements • Must currently have a Property & Casualty license • Previous experience in insurance required • Previous sales experience required • Ability to build rapport with clients • Strong negotiation skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Confident, self-starter who works well independently
