About the position The Solutions Management Manager at Elevance Health plays a pivotal role in leading the planning strategy and implementation of growth initiatives for the National Government Services Business Process Solutions P&L segment. This position serves as the single point of contact and subject matter expert on all aspects of planning, implementing, and managing operational, technical, and business partner interactions aimed at enhancing existing programs. The manager will collaborate closely with Business Development to devise strategies and transformational solutions that address complex challenges and identify new business opportunities. In this role, the manager will oversee daily activities that support the tactical execution of growth initiatives and the management of long-term strategic growth initiatives. This includes continuous improvement, new capability development, and the integration of innovative technologies. The Solutions Management Manager will be responsible for developing appropriate, applicable, and responsive solutions by reviewing government documents, analyzing them, and collaborating with the business unit to create technical content for proposals, pilot opportunities, innovation recommendations, and white papers. Additionally, the manager will maintain a detailed knowledge of all current systems and services while understanding evolving customer needs to support new business opportunities. They will provide consultation and advice to business partners regarding the benefits of innovation, analytics, and strategic solutions, ensuring that the organization remains competitive and responsive to market demands. Responsibilities • Oversee the daily activities supporting tactical execution of growth initiatives. , • Manage long-term strategic growth initiatives including continuous improvement and new capability development. , • Develop appropriate solutions by reviewing government documents and collaborating with business units. , • Analyze and translate technical content for proposals and innovation recommendations. , • Maintain detailed knowledge of current systems and services to support new business opportunities. , • Provide consultation and advice to business partners regarding innovation and strategic solutions. Requirements • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in a related field. , • Minimum of 2 years experience in solutions management. , • Must have lived in the United States for at least three of the past five years. Nice-to-haves • Graduate degree and/or professional designation related to the field preferred. , • Project management experience preferred. , • Healthcare experience preferred. , • Passion for finding solutions to complex problems preferred. , • Experience supporting the development of future strategic responses and innovation options preferred. , • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills preferred. , • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
