Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Utility Design Assistant to join our team. This role involves working closely with customers and handling applications, data entry, and simple projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, though specific experience in utility design is not required. We are willing to provide training for the right individual. Key Responsibilities: • Start the workday at the work center, review emails, and pull customer applications. • Return information to customers and route applications through the process. • Answer phone calls and provide information to customers. • Assist in basic utility design. • Show customers design layouts and discuss electrical wiring and connections. • Work with a small team in a dynamic environment and adapt to various personalities. Requirements: • Minimum of 1 year of utility or construction based experience. • Strong soft skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities. • Basic knowledge of electrical trade or construction trade. • Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal direction. Bonus Qualifications: • Experience working with a major utility in any role. • Experience performing entry-level to moderate utility designs. • Experience in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or Maximo EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
