Remote Teacher - Intervention Specialist | WFH

Job Overview We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Intervention Specialist Teacher to join our esteemed team as an independent contractor. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while providing essential support to students with varied learning needs. You will play a vital role in the development and execution of individualized educational plans, nurturing a positive and inclusive virtual learning environment, and engaging collaboratively with families and educational staff to ensure student success. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored for students with special needs. • Collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and other professionals to design and execute strategies that align with students’ learning objectives. • Provide personalized instruction through one-on-one and small group settings, customized to individual learning styles and requirements. • Maintain precise and up-to-date records reflecting student progress, assessments, and other pertinent documentation. • Participate in virtual meetings, staff collaborations, and professional development sessions to enhance educational delivery. • Ensure that students’ educational needs are addressed within a safe, nurturing, and respectful online learning atmosphere. Required Skills • Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with a strong commitment to working with students needing diverse learning approaches. • Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). • Exceptional time management skills to function effectively as an independent contractor. Qualifications • Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline. • Ohio State certification in Special Education. • Proven experience in creating and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
