Adjunct Biology Laboratory Instructor- Enid-Part Time

Northern Oklahoma College Division of Agriculture & Biological Science in Enid is seeking an adjunct instructor for General Biology Laboratory for the Fall 2024 semester. Applications will be taken until the position is filled. Applicants must have a minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or closely related field, and exhibit strong communication skills. A master’s... degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Biological Science is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: • Teaching a maximum of 12 credit hours per the fall and spring semesters, with the understanding that the numbers hours available will fluctuate from semester to semester based on the needs of the division. • Schedule a minimum of 30 minutes of office hours either prior to or following class period. • Provide required data for program assessment. Areas of Knowledge and Expertise Include: • A thorough understanding of subject matter of the courses taught and of laboratory techniques required of the course. • Prior teaching experience and classroom management is preferred. • Mastery of computer skills. • Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred (training will be available). • Subject to satisfactory Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure which includes a criminal background check.
