The School of Social Sciences, Communication, and Humanities at Endicott College is seeking adjunct faculty members with expertise in social work or related fields who can teach a number of Human Services courses in our curriculum. These courses include but not limited to: HMS 100 Introduction to Human Services HMS 300 Contemporary Issues in Human Services HMS 306 Victimization of the Elderly HMS 309 Contemporary Issues in PTSD Treatment HMS 327 Victimization of Children HMS 330 Non-profits for Social Change: Philanthropy in Action HMS 357 Workplace and School Violence HMS 440 Understanding and Treating Sexual Trauma: Theory, Research, and Practice The adjunct faculty members will be required to: Teach in person on campus in Beverly, MA. Be aware of and abide by Endicott's academic policies Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course Use Canvas as the course's learning management system Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades Communicate with the Associate Dean if and when issues arise Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes Use their Endicott email address when communicating with students. Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree is required. Ph.D. preferred. College level teaching experience is strongly preferred. To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter.
