Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent - 2nd/3rd Shifts

About the position The Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of customers by monitoring alarm signals and dispatching emergency services as needed. This position involves providing exceptional customer service during critical situations, responding to alarms, and maintaining communication with customers and emergency responders. The role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, comprehensive training, and potential for career growth within the company. Responsibilities • Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems. , • Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies. , • Provide world-class customer service to customers in their time of need. , • Notify customers of non-emergency signals. , • Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch. , • Receive and process inbound calls requesting information. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. , • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute. , • Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states. , • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required. Nice-to-haves • Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour). , • Experience in a high-stress environment.
