Senior IT Manager - Enterprise Data Platform

Description: • Leads a development team in designing, developing, testing, and deploying data ingest and data serving patterns • Provides career growth and timely feedback to the development team • Leads cloud architecture activities to create robust design and development patterns • Establishes and monitors best practices for data ingest, curation, and serving solutions in GCP • Optimizes designs and processes for faster time-to-market of new products • Advances and promotes enterprise data standards and metadata management • Modernizes and creates automation in processes and capabilities set • Ensures tracking of cost increases associated with cloud services • Partners with the Data Science team to ensure seamless data transfer Requirements: • 10+ years designing and building data ingestion, storage, and processing solutions • 3+ years experience object-oriented programming • 3+ years leading teams that deploy enterprise data and analytics solutions • 3+ years architecting, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise data solutions in cloud platform • Broad cloud application and infrastructure architectural experience • Strong object-oriented programming experience using Python • Experience with data processing tools: Airflow, Apache Beam • Demonstrated expertise with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, Git source code repositories, GitLab is a plus • Solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts like Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), DNS, CDN, Load Balancing and Auto Scaling Benefits: • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans • Well-being incentives • Parental leave • Paid time off • Certain paid holidays • Tax saving accounts (FSA, HSA) • 401(k) retirement benefit • Employee Stock Purchase Plan • Tuition assistance • Entertainment and retail discounts • Overtime pay eligibility Apply Job!
