Lead Pharmacy Advocate Technician- Pharmacotherapy Clinic

We Are Hiring: • Department: Pharmacotherapy Clinic • Schedule: M-F, regular business hours • Facility: Ascension St Joseph Chicago • Location: Chicago, IL 60657 • Salary: $20.80 - $31.20 per hour What You Will Do: Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in pharmacy services. Additionally, serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance across pharmacies and to clinical leadership. • Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. • Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties as associates they lead. • Assign, monitor and review progress of work. • Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures. • May resolve scheduling issues. • Oversee daily activities of the pharmacy technicians under the direction of the pharmacists and management. • Assist with specialty projects and tasks as assigned by Pharmacy management. • Participate in problem solving within the department. • Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. • One or more of the following required: • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
