Video Editor for Short-Form / Clips (TikTok, Reels, YouTube)

Job Description: We’re seeking a talented Short-Form Video Editor to join our team. You'll be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, attention-grabbing short videos optimized for vertical formats. Responsibilities: • Edit short-form videos (15-90 seconds) for platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. • Add text overlays, captions, and motion graphics to enhance viewer engagement. • Incorporate sound effects, background music, and transitions effectively. • Ensure videos align with brand style and content strategy. • Deliver edits on tight deadlines with attention to detail. Requirements: • Proven experience editing short-form content for social media platforms. • Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci, Descript, Adobe AfterEffects). • Strong sense of pacing, timing, and storytelling. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with platform-specific trends and best practices. • Access to editing equipment (handles min. 1080p specs) and reliable internet. Bonus Skills: • Experience with motion graphics or animation. • Ability to fix auto-reframe when it’s defective. • Understanding of content strategies for social media growth. • Equipment strong enough to edit and store 4k video.
