IBM FileNet System Administrator (100% Remote)

Our customer is a large United States insurance company that is backed by more than 100 years of experience and provides insurance products and services for businesses and professionals in the United States., Canada and Europe. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, they have more than 20 US locations. We are seeking an IBM FileNet System Administrator on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote. Responsibilities • System administration: • Installing, configuring, and upgrading IBM FileNet components like Content Engine, Process Engine, Application Engine, Content Search Services, Content Navigator, and Object Store. • Hands on experience in IBM FileNet 4.0, IBM FileNet 5.2.1, IBM FileNet 5.5 and Image Services • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls. • Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and troubleshooting technical issues. • Performing backups and disaster recovery procedures. • Workflow design and management: • Developing and implementing custom workflows within FileNet to automate document routing and approval processes. • Defining document properties, metadata, and indexing rules. • Managing workflow queues, resolving errors, and optimizing workflow performance. • Content management: • Managing document capture processes, including scanning and importing documents into FileNet. • Implementing document retention policies and managing document versioning. • Creating and maintaining search indexes for efficient content retrieval. • Technical support: • Providing technical support to users on FileNet features and functionality. • Investigating and resolving user reported issues related to document access, workflow errors, and system performance. • Collaboration: • Working with business stakeholders to understand their content management requirements and translate them into FileNet solutions. • Collaborating with development teams to integrate FileNet with other applications. Must-haves • Required: • Strong understanding of IBM FileNet architecture, components, and administration tools. • Experience with workflow design and development principles. • Knowledge of database concepts and management. • Proficiency in scripting languages like Java or other related technologies. • Preferred: • Experience with FileNet P8 architecture for more than 8+ years • Experience with FileNet P8 core and integrated components for more than 10+ years • Experience with WebSphere application server • Experience with Db2, Oracle and SQL database servers • Experience with system monitoring tools • Experience with DevOps configuration management We offer a competitive salary range for this position.
