Skills • Strong commitment to teaching and working with children • Tech-savvy mindset and willingness to learn new skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with both children and adults • Ability to work effectively in a team environment Responsibilities • Lead Camps: Teach exciting, innovative concepts to campers in grades K-8, making each lesson enjoyable and engaging. • Inspire Others: Serve as a role model for campers and instructors alike, fostering a positive, energetic atmosphere throughout the camp day. • Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and train your fellow instructors to ensure smooth operations and a unified approach to delivering the program. • Program Oversight: Manage daily camp activities, ensuring that curriculum is delivered effectively and that the camp environment is safe and welcoming. • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the camp and the school’s director, ensuring clear communication about expectations, needs, and daily updates. • Attend required training sessions, both in-person and online, to prepare for the summer season. • Proactively communicate with the headquarters team and school camp directors to coordinate all program logistics. • Supervise the camp staff and assist with daily operations, including safety protocols, medical procedures, and inventory management. • Help organize materials and equipment needed for the camp, and ensure everything runs smoothly day to day.
