The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with staff, families, and students to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and a deep commitment to student success. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement in the state of Oregon. • Proven experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities. • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. • Commitment to equity and inclusion in education. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. • Adapt and differentiate curriculum to meet the diverse needs of learners. • Provide direct instruction in small-group or one-on-one settings. • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success. • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates and support. • Stay informed about best practices and legal requirements in special education. .
