Hobby Lobby is Hiring A Merchandise and Stocking Associate Job Summary: Maintaining a fully-stocked, well-organized store is pivotal to the success of Hobby Lobby, and this responsibility falls onto the Merchandise and Stocking Associate who are responsible for keeping shelves and sales areas adequately stocked and tidy for customers when they visit the store. Responsibilities: • Transfer merchandise from incoming trucks and put them in an organized manner in the stockroom. • Stock the shelves, racks, and bins with recently acquired or relocated merchandise. • Keep the merchandise in a tidy, spotless, and organized way by ensuring its proper arrangement and continuous stocking. • Ensure that the store is always fresh and clean by regularly rotating the inventory and maintaining cleanliness. • Take advantage of inventory management tools such as barcode scanners to accurately and efficiently track and manage inventory levels. • Be available to customers in the sales area and provide guidance as needed. • Stay out of harm's way by making sure to follow safety policies and immediately reporting any unsafe conditions you come across. Qualifications: • Exhibiting the capability to pick up heavy objects and perform physically demanding duties. • The aptitude to proficiently juggle multiple tasks and undertake effective organization is key to success in any job. • With an eye for detail, I consistently work to preserve the store's aesthetic and maintain its high standards. • Experience is not a requirement; we offer training for all levels. • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is a must for this job. • A high school certification or its equivalent is preferable.
