Online German Language Instructor for Middle and High School Students
Description We are an accredited online language school searching for passionate and dedicated German Language instructors to join our team and teach middle and high school students online. Our students, typically aged between 12 and 18, are primarily learning German to fulfill their high school World Language requirements. We offer various German courses ranging from Level 1 to Level 6+, as well as conversational and test preparation classes. Our curriculum follows the ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) standards, emphasizing real-world communication contexts over traditional textbooks. We utilize ACTFL Can-Do Statements to guide lesson content, and our syllabi are structured to support a textbook-free approach. Instructors have access to a Resource Library for lesson planning, allowing them the freedom to create and adapt their own materials. We implement a Project-Based Learning model, focusing student assessments on projects rather than conventional quizzes or exams. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is based on teaching experience, education, and other relevant qualifications. We offer a contract-based job type, and applicants are required to submit a video with their application.
