Online K-12 Tutors: Licensed Teachers Needed (Remote)

For over two decades, we have partnered with school districts, higher education institutions, libraries, and organizations nationwide to deliver transformative online tutoring services. Position Overview: Brainfuse is seeking licensed teachers to join our team of dedicated tutors. In this role, you will provide real-time, remote assistance to students across various K-12 subjects, delivering high-quality, interactive sessions to enhance their understanding and academic performance in a range of subjects. Applicants must hold a valid U.S. Teaching License or Educator Certificate. We have a high demand for tutors in the following subjects: • Language Arts: K-12 Reading, K-12 Writing • Mathematics: K-12 Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics • Science: K-12 Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Environmental Science • Social Studies: History, Government, Canadian History • Business: Accounting, Economics, Finance • Languages: Spanish, French Responsibilities: • Deliver real-time, interactive tutoring sessions across a broad range of K-12 subjects to students. • Help students understand and apply key concepts and skills relevant to their grade level and subject area. • Adapt sessions to address individual learning needs and ensure effective comprehension. • Provide live assistance through our online virtual whiteboard using text, audio, and video. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, a specific subject area (such as Mathematics, Science, English), or a related field; proof of education required. • Previous experience tutoring or teaching K-12 students in relevant subjects is preferred. • Strong knowledge and understanding of the subjects you will be tutoring. • Personal computer with a fast and stable internet connection, along with a reliable microphone and webcam for interactive online sessions. Compensation: • Regular On-Demand Tutoring Sessions: $17 per hour • Prearranged High Dosage Tutoring Sessions: ELA: $22 per hour, Math: $25 per hour • Additional Incentives: Tutors who regularly participate in high dosage tutoring sessions may qualify for extra incentives.
