Disney Destinations Communications Intern, Spring 2025

About the position The Disney Destinations Communications Intern will support the global Sales, Services & Events team, focusing on communication initiatives for various U.S. based Disney Destinations. This internship, running from January 2025 to June 2025, involves assisting in the development and implementation of communication strategies, creating engaging content, and managing day-to-day communication tasks. Responsibilities • Support internal and third-party client communication initiatives. , • Assist with local Cast engagement efforts and social media content creation. , • Distribute operational updates and manage day-to-day message distribution. , • Develop and implement communication strategies under the guidance of the Sales Communication Manager. , • Design engaging visuals for digital signage, presentations, and Cast recognition initiatives. , • Conduct photography for print and electronic communications. , • Post print collateral and update content on intranet sites. , • Handle mass email distributions for Cast and clients. , • Craft creative social media content for Disney Travel Professional platforms. Requirements • Graphic design experience with innovative and creative ideas. , • Strong written and verbal communication skills. , • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications. , • Excellent proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail. , • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. , • Ability to work independently and in a group setting. , • Flexibility in work schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays. Nice-to-haves • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. , • Experience with video production. , • Ability to learn new software applications and web-based CMS. , • Strong administrative skills in a professional environment. , • Proficient in AP Style writing, grammar, and punctuation. , • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
