Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Advanced Math Summer Camp Instructor for a dynamic remote position. This engaging 3-week residential summer camp is designed for students eager to strengthen their conceptual understanding and advanced problem-solving abilities in mathematics. Key Responsibilities
As an Advanced Math Summer Camp Instructor, your primary responsibilities will include: Delivering stimulating and interactive lessons aligned with the camps math curriculum. Fostering a positive and collaborative learning atmosphere that encourages student participation. Tracking student advancements and providing constructive feedback to enhance the overall academic experience. Assisting with various camp activities such as student check-in/out, study halls, and evening seminars as required. Required Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities. A talent for motivating and engaging students in a dynamic educational setting. Strong expertise in math concepts and curriculum tailored for grades 6-12.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications: A bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, a STEM discipline, or a related field. Candidates pursuing or holding a graduate degree are encouraged to apply. Proven experience teaching math to students in grades 6-12, with familiarity in math contests such as AMC 8, AMC 10/12, or AIME being highly desirable.
