Key Responsibilities • Transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings with precision. • Produce verbatim transcripts from audio recordings while adhering meticulously to style guides. Required Skills • Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening skills and adherence to deadlines. • Excellent literacy skills encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar. • Ability to efficiently collaborate in a remote setting. • Typing proficiency with a focus on both speed and accuracy. • Capability to process sensitive or challenging audio/text content. • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. • Must be able to successfully pass a background check. • Court reporting students are encouraged to apply. • Note: This position is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
