As a Cabin Service Agent, you'll work with your team members to ensure that all aircraft interiors meet the cleanliness expectations for each flight. Watch this job preview to learn more about benefits and responsibilities of this career opportunity at Delta. Work tasks include cleaning and sanitizing the aircraft cabin. Cabin Service Agents safely drive and operate ground equipment such as cargo vans, trucks, and high-lift trucks. During each shift, aircraft security inspections are performed in accordance with current safety and security procedures and regulatory requirements. Agents operate electronic devices and computers to ensure the aircraft has been cleaned and searched pursuant to required standards. Scheduling is based on operational needs. Shifts range from early morning to overnight. Each station is different based on its individual flight schedule. You will also work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority. The starting pay is $19.00 per hour. Additional pay increases occur regularly through 4.5 years. What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications) • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles. • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. • Have a valid driver’s license. • Possess basic digital literacy. • Ability to frequently lift tools, supplies, or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds. • Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video. • Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
