SharePoint Administrator (Remote - Part-time)

We are currently seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator to join our client's Voluntary Benefits team, specifically supporting the Product Owners. The primary focus will be on enhancing and organizing an existing SharePoint framework to create a more centralized and efficient system for managing SharePoint pages and sites. Position: SharePoint Admin Location: 100% remote Interview availability: Manager has open availability to interview next week! Job Description: • This person will be working with the Voluntary Benefits team at our client, specifically the team of Product Owners. • They are working on a build out of their internal SharePoint site and systems. • Right now it’s pretty chaotic, and they need everything to be a centralized place with all their SharePoint pages and sites etc. Duration: • Part time open ended. • They are very flexible with how many hours this person can work per week, they just need to be available on central time. • It is initially going to start around 15-20 hours per week, could be more if the candidate has more time and wants to work more. • Then once the initial work is done, they would like to keep this person open ended to help with a few hours here and there weekly as needed. Can this person work another job with this role? • YES! They can be full time at another job, they would just need to be honest with how many hours they can put towards this per week and what time of day they can work etc. • Ideally they need to have some flexibility to do some hours during the work day in order to train and teach. What will this person be doing? • Our client already has the framework created, but they need someone who is technical enough to help with some additional features and support. • This person also needs to be able to train the different internal teams on how to use SharePoint Power Apps. • They don’t have anyone internally with this skill set right now, so they really need someone who can consult and teach them how to utilize and use their SharePoint site, and help them with cool new features and updates! Skillset: • SharePoint • Office 365 • PowerApps • Power automate • Nice to have: Power BI Non-technical skills: • They need to have strong communication and patience, since they are helping teach and train the internal team on SharePoint. • Since they are also remote they need to have overall good communication skills.
