Overnight Telecommunications Construction Coordinator

This is an overnight remote work position, 8pm - 5am, with a 1 hour lunch break. This position will direct emergency repairs and will be required to travel to the job site when needed. Position Summary: The Telecommunications Construction Coordinator will play a key role in overseeing on-site construction activities related to fiber optic network deployment. Working under the guidance of the Area Manager, the Telecommunications Construction Coordinator will lead a team to ensure the successful execution of projects with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • On-Site Project Management: • Supervise and coordinate construction activities to ensure they align with project plans, specifications, and timelines. • Oversee the installation of fiber optic cables, ensuring compliance with design requirements and safety standards. • Team Leadership: • Lead and motivate a construction team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship. • Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement. • Resource Allocation: • Coordinate the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials for construction projects. • Collaborate with the Area Manager to ensure resources are effectively utilized to meet project deadlines. • Quality Assurance: • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet or exceed industry standards. • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly. • Safety Compliance: • Champion safety protocols, ensuring all team members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations. • Conduct safety briefings and training sessions as needed to maintain a safe working environment. • Communication: • Serve as a liaison between on-site teams and management, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. • Collaborate with the Area Manager to address any issues affecting project delivery. • Other Duties: • All other duties as assigned Apply Job!
