Job Title: Remote Financial Analyst & Operations Assistant (100% Work From Home) Location: Remote from Latin America Position Type: Full-time Salary: $2,750 - $3,000 USD/month Schedule: Monday - Friday, minimum 40 hrs/week; working hours are flexible but a schedule must be set, and should fall between 7am - 6pm Central Time Zone. One hour lunch break daily. Candidates should be able to manage their own time to manage and grow their responsibilities. Job Overview: Our client is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to work closely with the Investment and Asset Management teams to evaluate new investment opportunities and assist with back-office operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for learning all aspects of the commercial real estate business and a demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis. General responsibilities include: acquisitions underwriting, portfolio financial analyses and accounting, and property management assistance. You will learn from a small, veteran team of dedicated real estate entrepreneurs that oversee a portfolio of U.S. based neighborhood shopping centers. Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities Perform financial analysis for the acquisition, disposition and financing of retail commercial real estate and related investments Model various equity and debt financing options, and gather and process data on applicable market rents, vacancy, sales comps, etc. Work with VP of Acquisitions to track offers, collect and analyze due diligence, gather debt quotes, and prep investor memos. Additional Duties Asset Management and Property Management Assistance Update web based leasing marketing channels Assist Accounting Manager with bank reconciliations Assist with rent collections This position will assist with opportunistic investment analysis and track existing portfolio investments of the companys principal owners as this location serves a Family Office (general Investment Manager) Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies: Candidate Qualities: Above all the right candidate must have a keen interest in learning all aspects of the real estate investment business in a hard-working, team-oriented work environment Organized self-starter with an ability to think critically and prioritize competing demands Committed and open to learning from leadership yet willing to offer fresh ideas Effective written and verbal English communication skills Requirements: University level degree (or graduate level) with strong academic credentials. A business, accounting, real estate or related area of concentration is preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of financial analysis or accounting experience (real estate acquisitions analysis, valuation, cash flow forecasting, and/or property management experience a plus but not required). Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel required; Experience with AppFolio or other web-based accounting/property management software systems is a plus.
