*Remote* Special Education Teacher Position for the New Mexico School District

This Virtual Special Education Teacher in New Mexico will provide tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning challenges! You will work collaboratively with families and other educators to develop effective IEPs and implement strategies that help students reach their full potential in a virtual setting!! Key Responsibilities... • Create and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet the specific needs of each student. • Deliver high-quality virtual instruction and facilitate engaging learning activities. • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to optimize learning outcomes. • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and support needs. • Collaborate with other educators and specialists to coordinate services and support for students. • Stay informed on best practices and innovations in special education and online learning. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license. • Experience working with students with various disabilities and learning challenges. • Familiarity with virtual teaching tools and platforms. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience, structured as a 1099 contract.
