Position Summary We are in search of a proficient Mid-Level Java Developer to become an integral part of our dynamic team. Your responsibilities will encompass engaging in projects contracted by government agencies, where you will design, develop, and maintain software systems tailored for government clientele. A robust foundation in Java development and experience within government contracting sectors are crucial for succeeding in this role. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions utilizing Java, Spring Framework, and Maven. Conduct analysis of existing .NET code, refactoring or converting it into effective Java-based implementations. Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code by adhering to best practices, design patterns, and coding standards to ensure long-lasting sustainability. Create and develop modular, reusable components, libraries, and frameworks that are both testable and extensible for future improvements. Collaborate with a variety of teams including developers, testers, DevOps, and project managers to guarantee seamless integration and the timely delivery of superior software. Utilize Java debugging tools and logging frameworks to proficiently identify, isolate, and resolve technical challenges. Employ tools to monitor and enhance code coverage, ensuring that critical paths are thoroughly tested and potential problems are addressed early in the development cycle. Required Skills 6+ years of experience working with Java/JEE and the Spring Framework. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder. Familiarity with government contracting environments is essential.
