We are seeking an experienced medical biller with experience in Hospice and/or home health. In order to work remotely, this person must have significant experience in the Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR billing Home Health and/or Hospice.
Summary
In the role of Biller - Hospice and Home Health, you will be responsible for medical billing tasks related to hospice and home health services. Utilizing core skills such as medical collection, EMR systems, and medical coding, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims. You will play a vital role in supporting the financial health of the organization while providing quality care to patients in need. Responsibilities Utilize medical billing software to accurately process claims for hospice and home health services. Collaborate with medical staff to review and verify patient records for billing accuracy. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies and denials promptly. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations in all billing activities.
