CVS Pharmacy Technician (Remote)

- Medication Preparation: Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, including counting, labeling, and packaging.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients by addressing their inquiries, processing prescription orders, and offering medication counseling under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Order Processing: Review and process prescription orders, including verifying medication information and ensuring the proper dosage and instructions.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage medication inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage of medications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state pharmacy regulations, including maintaining accurate records and handling controlled substances in accordance with legal requirements.
- Technical Support: Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to pharmacy software and equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication logs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or equivalent state certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and documentation.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail or clinical setting.
- Experience with Remote Work: Previous experience working remotely is preferred but not required.
Working Hours
- Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings, as needed.
