Key Responsibilities: • Transcribe medical dictations including patient histories, examination results, treatment plans, and operative reports into written documents. • Ensure the accuracy of transcribed documents by reviewing and editing for grammar, punctuation, and clarity. • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Manage and organize files, ensuring all documents are well-maintained and easily accessible for healthcare professionals. • Stay updated with medical terminology, anatomy, and transcription guidelines to ensure accuracy. • Collaborate with healthcare staff to clarify any inconsistencies or discrepancies in reports. • Meet deadlines for transcriptions, ensuring timely submission of medical documents. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in a similar role. • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and transcription software. • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy under tight deadlines. • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed. • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Ability to work independently and manage your workload remotely. • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
