Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Analyst (2 roles) 100% Remote Contract to Permanent Job

We have 2 positions that are 6 month contract to Permanent roles for a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Analyst. The position are 100% remote. Day to day responsibilities • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's operations and assets. • Develop and document disaster recovery and business continuity plans, strategies, and solutions for various scenarios and levels of severity. • Ensure that all businesses have an effective and comprehensive continuity and disaster recovery plan. • Coordinate and conduct testing, training, and exercises to validate and improve the disaster recovery and business continuity plans and capabilities. • Monitor and report on the status and effectiveness of the disaster recovery and business continuity program and initiatives. • Provide guidance and support to the management and staff on disaster recovery and business continuity best practices and standards. •... Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as IT, security, legal, compliance, vendors, and regulators, to ensure alignment and compliance with the disaster recovery and business continuity objectives and requirements. • Analyze internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. • Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team: • Expectations are this person will be able to step in and digest information and begin to reach out to the various teams to work on solidifying a DR operational practice. Currently there are no metrics for these roles. In addition this person will be expected to participate in DR events when they occur. Tell me about what their first day looks like: • First day will be introduction to the teams, mandatory training, Meetings setup with DR Leadership, Access to DR tools to include Fusion, Sharepoint sites, What previous job titles or background work will in this role? • DR Specialist/Analyst Internal/External Groups with which the Candidate will interface: Required Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills/ Experience: 1. • Experience with Incident/Problem Management, Change Management, Availability Management, and Configuration Management. 1. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning roles. 2. • Strong knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks, methodologies, and best practices 2. • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner, with a strong attention to detail. 3. • Expert knowledge of IT recovery strategies plans, crisis communication planning, testing of all plans, lessons learned, and corrective action plans. 3. • Demonstrated and proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams, analyze problems, propose solutions, drive issues to resolution, and make decisions, both individually and when leading a group to reach a conclusion1 Apply Job!
