Entry level IT Position

The Entry-Level/Intern IT Support Specialist will assist in providing technical support for Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office products. This position requires no prior IT experience but does require a basic familiarity with these platforms. As a key contributor to the IT team, this individual will help end-users resolve technical issues while gaining hands-on experience and... building foundational IT skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to user inquiries and provide assistance via phone, email, or in-person. • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and Microsoft Office application issues. • Assist users with proper use of Microsoft operating systems and Office products. • Install, configure, and upgrade software applications. • Collaborate with senior team members to maintain IT infrastructure and troubleshoot issues. • Maintain documentation on troubleshooting steps and system configurations. • Support in routine system maintenance, including software updates and patches. • Communicate technical solutions effectively to end-users.

Requirements

Basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products. • Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in IT. • Good communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. • High school diploma or equivalent • Eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance or already possess a DoD Secret Clearance. • Must meet IAT Level II certification requirements (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or similar) or be able to obtain certification within a 90-day Period.
