This role involves performing diagnostics, creating maintenance requests, and coordinating with the NCC and TAC to ensure network health. The candidate will work independently under minimal supervision and handle a variety of moderately difficult assignments requiring innovation and judgment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, vendor management, running network scripts, and providing technical guidance to staff. The position requires a minimum of five years in a service provider role, proficiency with SONET / DWDM configurations. This person can work remote anywhere in the United States and it is a Monday to Thursday shift, 10 : 30 PM to 8 : 30 AM CT, and flexibility is essential to support after-hours maintenance requests.
