Position Summary... What you'll do... This is an exciting opportunity for someone with director level experience in operations or program management from a large/mid-size company to leverage their skills to operationalize strategic initiatives, projects, and programs. About the team: The Quality & Safety (Q&S) team is zealous about driving innovative processes that provide safe and reliable care to our patients. The team is made up of talented individuals who concentrate on one of three areas within the team; Quality, Safety, and Operations. While there are three different focus areas, this is a cohesive team that compliments each other by playing to the individual strengths, skills, and perspectives from each group. What you'll do: As a member of the Q&S Operations Team, you will lead complex initiatives and design solutions by collaborating with SMEs, stakeholders, project owners, and leaders to: • Scope the project by understanding the issue, purpose, and challenges related to... the initiative (using data to support your findings) • Problem-solve to identify solutions that will address the nature of initiative • Design and create a project plan(s) that contemplate timelines, resources, design, budget, stakeholder buy-in, and the problem/solution • Operationalize the plan to implement the solution What you'll bring: • As a "corporate athlete", demonstrated ability to adapt and apply new learnings to the project • Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex problems • Demonstrated ability to manage and multi-phased complex projects • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in a highly matrixed team environment with multiple stakeholders • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strategic thinking and the ability to grasp concepts and make connections quickly • Resiliency and the ability to handle setbacks effectively • High emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively manage conflict and difficult situations • Naturally curious mindset, always staying current and seeking knowledge from other areas • Ability to influence others through effective communication (verbally, in writing, and as a presenter) • Ability to rapidly get "up-to-speed" when facing new challenges or assignments • Ability to lead others through change while broadening skills and identifying new opportunities • Healthcare background (preferred) • Experience with managing IT/Data/Tech initiatives (preferred) • PMP or LSS Certification (preferred) #LI-MF4 The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
