Arkansas Special Education Teacher Work from Home (2024/2025 School Year)
VocoVision is seeking a Special Education Teacher (K-12) in Arkansas capable of planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program that guides and encourages students to reach their academic potential. This position includes case management for approximately 15 students and involves determining whether the role is full-time or part-time. The role starts ASAP and runs through the end... of the school year. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and instructional programs for students. Provide ongoing evaluations of student progress and recommend necessary curriculum adjustments and accommodations. Maintain professional communication with parents/caregivers and regularly update them on student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with other staff to support student needs. Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelors degree in Special Education or related field. Valid Arkansas Special Education Teacher certificate is required. At least 2 years of experience in a school setting. Must have all required clearances to work in public or charter schools. Experience with early childhood education preferred. Flexible hours, determined based on full or part-time status. Position is for the 2024/2025 school year.
