Job Summary:

FedEx Freight, one of the largest and most reputable logistics companies in the United States, is seeking a part-time CDL Class A Driver for weekend shifts. The position will offer an attractive hourly rate, ranging between $22-28 per hour, along with an excellent benefits package including health and dental insurance, paid training, and paid vacations.

Job Description:

As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer for the over-the-road delivery of freight to two or more locations. Your role will be to ensure safe and timely transport of products while following FedEx protocols for vehicle operation and cargo handling.

Responsibilities:

– Safe operation of a tractor-trailer unit

– Loading and unloading freight in an efficient and safe manner

– Regular vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical problems

– Compliance with federal, state, and company regulations

– Accurate paperwork and logbook management

Requirements:

– Valid Class A CDL

– Must possess a clean driving record

– Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to 75 pounds

– Ability to read, write and speak English

Educational Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

– Minimum of one year experience driving tractor-trailer units
