Job Description
As an Amazon Flex Grocery Delivery Driver, you’ll be making deliveries for Amazon Fresh and Amazon Prime Now, ensuring customers receive their groceries within their specified delivery window. This role involves loading groceries into your vehicle at our distribution center and using Amazons delivery app to navigate to customer addresses. This is a physical role that includes getting in and out of the vehicle frequently, lifting and moving packages (up to 50 lbs), and interacting with customers.
Responsibilities
1. Collect and organize groceries for delivery at our distribution center.
2. Safely drive and operate your vehicle at all times.
3. Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process.
4. Deliver orders to customers’ homes or businesses within a specific area.
5. Deliver a friendly and professional service at all times.
6. Adhere to stringent safety and quality standards set by Amazon and local regulatory authorities.
Requirements
1. Must be at least 21 years old.
2. Have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
3. Have a qualifying vehicle with at least 4 doors and proper insurance.
4. Have a smartphone to download and operate the Amazon Flex app.
5. Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 4 hours.
6. Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
7. Pass a background check and drug test.
Educational Qualification
A high school degree or equivalent is required.
Experience
Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields is preferred but not required.
