Job Summary:

Job Description:

As a CDL A Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods. This includes securing loads, conducting pre and post-trip inspections, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. This position is local, meaning you’ll be home at the end of each shift, providing an ideal work/life balance.

Requirements:

– Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

– Minimum 21 years of age

– Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements

– Proven ability to drive a tractor-trailer flatbed safely

– Prior flatbed experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

– Safely operate a heavy tractor-trailer truck

– Load and unload cargo

– Properly track and document activities log

– Report any issues or incidents to dispatch

– Inspect truck before and after the trip

Educational Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

– 1+ years of commercial driving experience is preferred
