Job Description:
As a FedEx Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery and pickup of goods. This role demands a high level of responsibility, as you will be entrusted with the prompt and secure handling of packages. You will be expected to drive safely, meet delivery deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
– Load and unload packages in a timely and safe manner.
– Deliver packages to customers premises, adhering to routes and time schedules.
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
– Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
– Comply with FedEx and DOT policies and regulations.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license.
– Clean driving record.
– Ability to lift heavy packages.
– Excellent time-management skills.
– Good customer service skills.
– Knowledge of local routes and locations.
– High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required.
